Jo Clyne is known for her unique and creative approach to magic. Audiences have described her as 'witty', 'mind-blowing', 'charismatic', and 'truly magical'.

Jo began studying magic in 2007 and has carved out a distinct story-based performance style, often using real historical artefacts in her acts. She holds a PhD in History and Theatre Studies from the University of Melbourne and enjoys combining her interests through the study and performance of magic. She has been seen all around Victoria performing for the Clunes Booktown Festival, the Ballarat Heritage Festival, Magicians at Work, Book Week, Curbside Carnies, conferences, galleries, community, and private events.

Jo is a member of the Australian Institute of Magic and was a performer in their successful 2016 attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest magic show. Her parlour show The Miniature Museum of Magic played for six months at the Speakeasy HQ Theatre in Flinders Street in 2018 where she was also a regular performer in the Saturday night vaudeville show. Recent gigs have included sold out performances of her close up show Unusual Objects at the Laneway Theatre, The Quack and the Charlatan, The Witching Hour, A Night of Spiritualism and the children’s show The Pirate-Fairy-Dinosaur-Rainbow Magic Show.
