Beginning at Sydney’s The Manly Daily in 1985, Steve has spent almost half
of his professional cartooning career working in newspapers and magazines,
which has included appearing daily in The Australian and The Daily Telegraph.
His quick-fire live caricature talents have attracted an impressive client list and is regularly hired for major corporate events, conferences, product launches and weddings. His work has been hung in over 45 exhibitions in Australia and overseas.
A Life Member of the Australian Cartoonists’ Association, Steve served as ACA
President in 1992-93 and again in 1998-99.
In 2010, Steve was was awarded the coveted Jim Russell Award for his outstanding
contribution to Australian cartooning. In 2015, Steve was awarded a Merit Award at the Rotary Cartoon Awards.
