Bringing you his own swathe of jazz, funk, soul and grooves, Life Is A Myth is the multi-instrumental project from Gold Coast musician Liam Kirk. Life Is A Myth is an outfit available as a solo pianist, multi-instrumental looping, duo, trio and full band (up to 8 piece), with variations of piano, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, bass, drums, male and female vocals.
Life Is A Myth has opened for Thirsty Merc, Selve and HEAVY WAX, and averages 250 gigs a year. In the past 12 months has performed tours in Cairns, Darwin, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay; festivals such as Teneriffe Festival, Swell Sculpture, Chirn Park Street Festival, Moreton Bay Food & Wine Festival; and multiple Gold Coast/Brisbane residencies at Miami Marketta, The Triffid, Tropic Vice, The Beverly and Surfers Pavillion.
