“Named after their father who introduced them to the world of music, brothers Charlie and Mitchell form Yok. The acoustic duo perform a varied setlist of rock and pop tunes from decades passed and modern day. A live looping act, the lads make creative use of effects and a looper in order to incorporate bass, lead, and percussion parts into their two-guitar sound, allowing for a wider variety of dynamics and arrangements than normally heard from a duo. Yok can have a wall of sound that’s got the crowd dancing and jumping one minute, and then pull it back for a swaying sing-along the next.
