Bonnie began her music education at a young age, taking piano lessons from her mother in her country hometown of Longreach. She quickly developed a passion and talent for music, and at age 12, was awarded an Australia Day Junior Cultural Award for her dedication and contribution to the arts. Bonnie moved to Stanthorpe in her teenage years, and continued to excel in music. She developed expertise in and flourished as a classical, jazz, and musical theater pianist, and became a sought-after solo performer, ensemble player, and accompanist. She featured as a musician at prestigious events including Stanthorpe’s Opera in the Vineyard, and frequently performed at celebrated wineries across the region.

Bonnie moved to Toowoomba in 2012 to pursue her music career. She studied at the University of Southern Queensland where she received a Bachelor of Creative Arts (First Class Honours) (Music), before completing a Doctor of Philosophy in music. She quickly became a prominent figure in the music scene, becoming known for her remarkable versatility that allowed her to seamlessly transition between complex classical pieces and the soulful rhythms of jazz, alongside her skills in ensemble playing, musical directing, sight-reading, improvisation, composition, and arrangement. Her skill-set made her a sought-after musician, and she was in demand as a performer, musical director, accompanist, and répétiteur and lead keyboardist in musicals. She regularly performed and musically directed at renowned venues including Toowoomba’s Empire Theatre, and was a favored pianist of the Toowoomba Concert Orchestra. 

After completing her studies, Bonnie moved to Sydney to pursue her music career. She quickly established herself as a sought-after classical and jazz pianist, performing at prestigious venues such as The Star Casino’s VIP area, and the Domain for Carols in the Domain. Bonnie brings a captivating energy to her performances, engaging audiences with her effortless musical skill, and her tasteful and dynamic classical and jazz arrangements of popular repertoire. She leaves an everlasting mark on listeners through her personal warmth and charm.
