How do I book entertainment through Action Entertainment?
Tell us about your event — the date, venue, numbers and the feel you're after — through our enquiry form or the guided finder. We match the right acts, check their availability, and come back within one business day with real options and honest prices. You can also browse the roster and build a shortlist to send in one go.
How much does it cost to hire entertainment in Australia?
It depends on the act, the format and how long you need them — a roving performer for a cocktail hour is very different from a headline stage show or a hosted game show. Tell us your budget (it stays with us and is never shown to the performers) and we'll match acts that fit, with honest prices up front.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better — popular acts book out first, especially in December for Christmas and EOFY season. A few weeks is usually workable; for peak dates, months ahead is wise. Shortlist several acts and we'll check availability for your date.
Do you only cover Sydney, or all of Australia?
We're Sydney-based and that's our strongest market, but we book acts right across Australia — Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, the Gold Coast and beyond. If the perfect act is interstate, we bring them in and handle the travel.
Are your performers insured?
We require our roster acts to hold current public liability insurance, and we handle the insurance certificates as part of the booking so your venue and finance team have what they need.
What kinds of entertainment can I book?
Magicians, mentalists, illusionists and hypnotists; live music — bands, soloists, DJs and MCs; roving and walk-around acts; dancers, fire performers and comedians; corporate game shows; kids' entertainers; and rotating residencies for venues.

What is a corporate game show?
A hosted, interactive game show for your event — a live Family Feud (the Feud) or a fast trivia format (the Gold Classic), with a professional MC, buzzers, scoring, big-screen graphics and rounds themed to your company. It's the most reliable way to get a whole corporate room involved.
Do you do weddings, private parties and corporate events?
Yes — corporate events, trade shows, awards nights, EOFY and Christmas parties, weddings, birthdays and private celebrations. Tell us the occasion and we'll match the right entertainment.
