Based in the City of Newcastle New South Wales Australia, originally from Wollongong, Kara Zmatiq holds an award-winning reputation as a performing artist, with the man behind the gender illusion a multi- award winning musician spanning vocals, clarinet and saxophone; having graced stages nationally as a lead theatrical performer in such productions as Cabaret, Chicago and A Midsummer Nights Dream.
An entertainer with over 9 years performing experience within the music, cabaret and entertainment industry; both the man behind the heels and Newcastle celebrity persona Kara Zmatiq have shared the stage with Australian Celebrities including Samantha Jade, Anja Nissen, The Swing Kings and graced the stage and venues as international artists such as Grace Jones, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Courtney Act and Ru Paul (to name a few).
