Chantel Runting is a dynamic dance visionary. Her extraordinary career began in professional dance, with her feistiness and strength as a performer taking her to America, England, Canada, Japan, Singapore, China, and all over Australia. Chantel’s vitality and versatility as a dancer was well employed in commercial, corporate, cabaret and theatre productions, and at major sporting events.
Displaying intuitive abilities in choreography and formulating unique and captivating entertainment concepts, Chantel has developed her skills professionally over the last ten years to become a top choreographer and creative director on the international stage. Chantel has choreographed for vocal artists Leo Sayer, Zoe Badwi, Stan Walker, Last Mistress, Heroes For Hire, Harrison Craig, Prinnie Stevens and Jackson Thomas. Corporate clients have included Crown Casino, Myer, Kmart, Racing Victoria, Racing NSW, James Boags Premium, Lend Lease, Meat and Livestock Australia and The Service Leader. Chantel’s work has dominated at events and festivals including Fashion Aid, The Red Ball, The Grand Prix, Crown Christmas, The Melbourne Cup, The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, The Sacred Heart Charity Ball, The Elly Lukas Ball and The Fight Cancer Foundation Event, Campaign Living Grand, The Melbourne Awards and The Midwinter Ball, among many others.
Chantel has also completed Certificate Four in Training and Assessment for dance teachers, a Diploma of Musical Theatre and a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management. In 2014 Chantel was invited to participate in the Masters of Choreography with the top twelve choreographers in Australia.
Chantel is a spirited artist whose electric energy and passionate enthusiasm shine through in every project she undertakes.
